The word gospel means “good news.”
It’s the good news of what God has done through Jesus Christ to save us, restore us, and give us eternal life.

Simply put:
Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died the death we deserved, and rose again three days later so we could be forgiven, redeemed, and reconnected with God.

The Story of Humanity

In the beginning, God created humanity in His image perfect and in relationship with Him.
But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, sin entered the world.

This brought:

• Separation from God
  
• Spiritual death
  
• Brokenness in every part of life
  

Because of sin, humanity was spiritually lost and destined for death forever.

REDEMPTION

Thousands of years later, God stepped into our story.

Jesus came into the world to save us from the fate we brought on ourselves.
He took on the punishment we deserved and offered us mercy, grace, and complete forgiveness through His sacrifice.

When we repent of our sins and accept the gift given to us by Jesus, we are “born again” a spiritual rebirth into the new life He freely gives.

Through Him, everything sin destroyed can and will be restored.

The New Life

In Christ, we are made new.
We are called to:

• Live transformed lives
  
• Love others the way He loves us
  
• Share this good news with the world
  

Jesus gave us this mission in Mark 16:15 and Matthew 28:18–20.
